My Christmas
Up at 5am to stuff stockings, have tea and then off for a sunrise 10k run with Lil. We arrived home just in time for waking teenagers, stockings, and cranberry & spinach smoothies in our peaceful, happy house. A quick dinner prep and off for a neighbourhood bike ride with my awesome son on his new bike. Back to the house and off again for a trip out to the Kinsole trestle with my beautiful daughter and our little dog Cleo. On the way home my girl did her first driving lesson... great job love:)

Christmas Eve and Im Back :)
The flu bug is gone and ive made up for lost time...In the last 48 hours I have run 15km, biked 4 hours and tossed in a couple of doggie walks...it feels great to move my body!
I will do a big early Christmas morning run before coming home to feed a house full of hungry teenagers.
Every year I make home-made cranberry sauce, it's easy, nutritious, and you'll never buy store bought again!
2 small bags of cranberries
1 apple (diced)
1/2 cup honey
1/3 apple cider vinegar
2 tsps cinnamon
Put all the ingredients in a medium sized sauce pan, cover with lid on medium-low heat. Stirring occasionally. Once mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer about 20 minutes. Easy!

Not Day 7
My juice feast was put on hold by the flu. Being a primary care provider I am exposed to many sick people but usually NEVER get sick. Well, it was my turn and at the end of day four I came down with the flu and have been resting since. This explains my low energy... I will feast again when my body is ready.
